MSW0918-M-16S-C-0-0-2 manually regenerated softener with 16,000 grains capacity. The Softener can treat up to 5 gallons per minute of supply water with a 10-grain Total Hardness load to 0 soft conditions on a continuous base up to 1600 gallons of conditioned water. We are supplying all new equipment and components with a one-year limited warranty on materials. The system is complete. Equipment description and related shipping information are as follows: A. The softener vessel is a fiberglass reinforced plastic pressure vessel designed for 150 psig operating pressure, selected to hold one half cubic foot of softener resin B. The premium tank head is a plastic molded thank head assembly with a 1” removable plug where salt is added during the regeneration process. C. In the cap is a resin screen provided to retain the softener resin when the softener is laying on its side during shipping. D. The draw tube is a 0.75 OD distributor tube with a resin screen fixed to the tank head adapter and extends into the pressure vessel to the bottom of the resin. This tube allows normal flows with a slightly lower pressure drop, E. The inlet connection is a female 0.75” lead-free nylon, rated for NSF 61 garden hose connection, F. The outlet is a 0.75” lead free nylon, NSF 61 rated male NPT piping connection, G. ¾” Brass Quick connect on the supply waterside with water shutoff to easily remove your softener for transportation. H. ¾” Brass Quick connect on the treated water outlet of the softener I. 0.5 cubic feet of regenerated, ready to use, cation resin 8% cross-link styrene softening resin is loaded into the tank.
