The New York City Department of Health approves these non-opening child safety window guards for installation in non-sleeping rooms. The 5-Bar window guard units are 25-inch high with an adjustable width range of 24-inches to 42-inches. For baby and child safety, install window guards on any window more than 12 feet above ground level, or at any level where a child could fall or climb through an open window.
