For easy installation, this fixture uses electrical quick connectors. A galvanized steel socket plate adjusts inside housing for optimum light performance. It has a low profile for shallow ceiling plenums, is WSEC compliant for reduced airflow, and does not require above ceiling access. Housing Die-cast aluminum housing for maximum heat dissipation and rust protection Housing adjusts to 1/2" to 1 3/8" ceiling thickness. Trims are held in place with high tension clips For Remodel applications Housing is IC rated for direct contact with insulation and can be used in IC and NON-IC applications Unit include housing LED Connection Polarity-specific EZ-connect system engineered to match standard LED trims Junction Box ETL listed for through branch wiring 1/2" and 3/4" (4) romex wiring knockouts with integral strain clamps, all knockouts have pry-out slots J-Box is designed for straight through conduit runs Removable access plates for easy installation Thermal Protector Standard thermal protection device guards against improper installation and misuse of insulation material Air-Shut Provided with gasket to prevent airflow from heated or air-conditioned spaces.
