Single septa for 13-425 screw caps from MACHEREY-NAGEL. PTFE virginal: temperature resistant: –200 °C / +260 °C, very high analytical purity, very hard (but very thin material), no reseal ability. Red Rubber / TEF (FEP): temperature resistant: –40 °C / +110 °C, medium analytical purity, medium coring, medium hard to penetrate, reseal ability medium. Silicone / PTFE: temperature resistant: –60 °C / +200 °C, high analytical purity, low to medium coring, soft and easy to penetrate, reseal ability low to medium.
