The AFZ5PVBIADADL2B model is a 3.88 cu.ft. all-freezer with a temperature range of -30C to -10C, suitable for various vaccines and pharmaceuticals. It's designed for freestanding or recessed installation, fitting under lower counters while complying with ADA accessibility guidelines. The external microprocessor temperature controller minimizes door openings, protecting stored contents from ambient temperature. The buffered temperature probe, encased in a glycol-filled bottle, simulates stored product temperature, with an additional air temperature sensor for superior control. The current and min/max temperature display shows readings in Celsius or Fahrenheit to the nearest tenth of a degree. Audible and visual temperature alarms alert users if the unit's interior goes out of range, with additional alarms for power failure, door open, and sensor failure. This model features remote alarm contacts, a 1/2" probe port, and a hospital-grade cord with a 'green dot' plug. It also includes the DL2B digital data logger, recommended by the CDC and VFC for vaccine storage. This password-protected DDL offers a large LCD display, recording up to 32,000 data groups to its internal memory or more on the included 4GB USB flash drive. Data can be viewed through a PC or Mac in Microsoft Excel or any .CSV compatible program, with recording intervals settable in increments of 10 seconds. A 2-year certificate of calibration is included, with re-calibration available in our laboratories after expiration.
