HushMat ULTRA, a pressure-sensitive, constrained-layer damper, boasts excellent adhesion to various challenging substrates like oily cold rolled steel, aluminum, steel, fiberglass, automotive coated surfaces, and many plastics. Its aluminum foil constraining layer and specially formulated viscoelastic polymer layer combine to deliver effective vibration damping across a wide temperature range. Available in rectangular or square sheets, ULTRA can be hand-cut for unique configurations. It's temperature-resistant, maintaining adhesion through all automotive bake cycles, including 288°C over-bake conditions, allowing application at any production stage. Compatible with pre-painted and top-coated metal surfaces, it won't contaminate spray operations. ULTRA's superior adhesion provides excellent corrosion resistance and is approved for many automotive specifications.
