From a tender age, I loved to draw and shade with pencils. My late uncle, an abstract painter, encouraged me to pursue visual art. He taught me how to use acrylic paints to depict objects and scenes I admired. After I graduated senior high school, a friend from church approached me with an offer to work, designing masks at his brother's workshop. The older brother happened to be Emmanuel Nyadedzor, a Novica-featured artisan! I was able to save money to buy painting supplies. Also with my savings, I have enrolled in a three-year degree in painting at the university. My exposure to Novica pushed me to create high-quality work. My dream is to open an art school and become a renowned artist in future."
