Oasis PGA Suture is a synthetic absorbable braided suture that is extremely strong and retains 60%-70% of its tensile strength at 14 days. It has a rapid absorption rate of 60-90 days and is composed of polyglycolic acid. It is also extremely smooth and has a unique calcium stearate coating that ensures smooth tissue passage with minimal trauma to tissue.
