We created the Automaton Wall Clock series getting inspired not only by old mechanical wrist watches which gear motors seem to us real works of art but mechanical toys which were quite popular among the rich in XVIII in France.This wall clock belongs to our new Automaton Bite Wall Clock series but the main difference is that here two large gears move smoothly and silently together with the clock mechanism. This beautiful effect of motion doubles because of the mirror back layer. The hand movement is amplified with the rotation of 2 main gears powered by AA batteries.
