The XL-MAX Metal Beater Blade works with KitchenAid 5-Plus,-6, 7 & 8 Quart Bowl-Lift mixers. To determine if this fits YOUR stand mixer, simply measure the diameter of your stand mixer bowl—if it’s 9.5-inches across—HOORAY, the XL-MAX is the right blade for your stand mixer. There are images and videos on this page to help if you have questions. You can also always call us at 814-317-5067 and we will help you order the right blade! The XL-MAX blade DOES NOT work with 5-Quart Bowl-Lift mixer or Tilt Head mixers (we DO have blades to fit these sizes!). It is designed for the 5-Plus, 6, 7 & 8-Quart Bowl-Lift mixers only (but that’s a ton of mixers!). The metal BeaterBlade replaces your flat paddle attachment. Beater Blade pushes ingredients down to the dimple, full mixing—no flour streaks! To achieve a fluffy, aerated mixture (think creamed butter and sugar), beat at a higher speed. To achieve a smooth, thick mixture (think cheese cake), beat at lower speed. Beater blade is awesome for making frosting! When finished beating, use the BeaterBlade as a hand-held spatula to scrape batter into the pan. The powder coated aluminum frame brings commercial quality durability and flexible plastic blade is free of rubber, silicone and Teflon. Double molded injection bonds the plastic blade to the metal frame – food will not get stuck under the blade for ultimate sanitation. Only operate the BeaterBlade with ingredients in the bowl. In order to maintain the beauty and high shine finish, hand washing is strongly suggested. Not for Glass Stand Mixer Bowls. Also, WILL NOT FIT: PRO-6000, “F” Type mixers. Not for mixing pizza dough or ultra thick bread dough.
