UltraTech 1801 ABS Plastic Ultra-Sidewinder 1-foot extension system is a 1-foot extender of the 1800 Ultra-Sidewinder modular, plastic cable protection system which covers electrical cables to help reduce the risk of fires from cable damage. The cable protection extension is ideal for office and light-industrial use, is designed to be run on flat, stable surfaces and is not intended to span gaps, holes, or trenches with any weight load. The articulating pieces are made of ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) plastic, which is rigid and resists impact and abrasion for durability, have vulcanized rubber tabs, and adjust up to 10 degrees each to maneuver around curves, corners, and obstructions. The highly-visible black-and-yellow pattern helps prevent tripping accidents. The modular design allows for the length to be customized in 1-1/2-inch increments and permits the segments to be individually replaced without removing the cord for repair or reconfiguring. Assembled units have a maximum weight capacity of 2,000 pounds per square inch and can be coiled with the cord installed for ease of moving and storage. The extension system has an internal channel opening of 3/8 x 3/5 inches and measures 3/4 x 3 x 12 inches (H x W x L). (H is height, the vertical distance from the lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; L is length, the horizontal distance from end to end.)
