The BY-BM2021 On-Camera Video Shotgun Microphone from Boya is a supercardioid condenser shotgun microphone with two 3.5mm mini-plug connectors that are compatible with Smartphones, Tablets, DSLRs, Mirrorless cameras, camcorders, audio recorders. It can be used to capture audio in outdoor and indoor applications and is ideal for vlogging, interviews and ENG (Electronic News Gathering) type events or picking up audio at a show or a concert. The microphone features a super-lightweight integrated shockmount with a camera shoemount and a 1/4"-20 socket, which helps eliminate vibrations when mounted on a boompole. The mic is powered by your phone or camera (no batteries) and features a headphone 3.5mm mini-jack connector for monitoring the incoming audio. Furthermore, the high-quality condenser capsule decreases ambient noise while recording sound with greater clarity. The BY-BM2021 On-Camera Video Shotgun Microphone includes a carrying pouch and a foam windscreen to decrease vocal plosives and wind noise when recording dialog.
