Product description This is a Tiffen 72mm Glass CC30 Magenta Filter. This magenta filter elimates the green cast in many gymnasiums. It is a color correction filter to make a color balance adjustment. It alters the color balance of a scene by placing the filter in front of a your camera lens. Magenta is the opposite of green and using this filter reduces the green tones or casts. Tiffen filters are made using ColorCore technology which is a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, grinding flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch before mounting to precision metal ring.
