Hardened, spring tempered stainless steel 17-4PH, with a Rockwell of 44C. Especifically manufactured for speargun Spears / Shafts, these shafts offer the best combination of hardness and spring tension while resisting oxidation. 5/16" (8mm) Diameter with Rock point on one end and 6mm threads on the other. Specially manufactured 2 angle cut Speartip "Rockpoint" will offer great penetration, while staying sharp longer when shot against hard surfaces like rocks and shipwrecks. Spear Includes: Stainless steel heavy duty, thick gauge 3" barb / flopper Stainless steel slide ring Stainless steel spring Plastic line retainer Stainless steel threaded butt adapter Choose from the different end adapters to fit your speargun. - These 8mm (5/16") Spears can be used on any pneumatic speargun that comes from factory with an 8mm (5/16") spear. Thicker spears are stronger and more rigid to prevent heavier fish from bending the spear. nd increase accuracy. Just be sure to choose the correct end adapter to fit your speargun.
- Choose from the different end adapters to fit your speargun. Note that the Mares Cyrano adapter will also work on any other speargun that came from factory with an 7mm spear.Adapter can be replaced to use this Spear with different brands and models of pneumatic spearguns. These 7.1mm (9/2") spears can be used on many pneumatic spearguns that came with a 8mm (5/16") spear from factory. Just be sure to choose the correct end adapter.
