The GX1850B radio replaces the popular GX1600/1700 models with a submersible IPX8 body, easy-to-use interface, NMEA 2000 connectivity for instrument data, and RAM4 mic support for a second station. It transmits at 25 watts in the VHF marine band. The HC1600 vinyl cover shields the GX1600 series radio from rain, dust and more with its specially contoured shape made in Japan. Its 18.5cm x 10.4cm x 6.9cm size fits the Explorer radio models. Together, the capable GX1850B marine radio and its HC1600 protective cover provide reliable communication and weather resistance out on the waves.
