The pack can be opened almost like a suitcase and is just as easy to load through a large front opening that goes all the way to the top from one side. The large inner compartment features a removable divider - when it's open (and attached at the top) the space can be transformed into a hydration system compartment. Easy-access space for a map, travel guide or rain jacket in the front pocket. Trekking poles and insulation pad can be attached as usual on the outside. The lid of all bags in the Astrum EVO Series can be used as a shoulder bag for short trips or as a carry-on for bus travel. To reduce the ecological footprint, one of the two primary materials of the Astrum EVO was made with 50% recycled polyester. This product is made with Eco Finish, an eco-friendly, fluorocarbon-free, water-repellent finish (PFC-free).
