VMS RACING RED Front Tow Hook Compatible with Chevrolet Corvette C6 ZO6 ZR1 05-13 2005-2013

This is a Genuine VMS Racing (NOT Generic) 4340 Chrome Moly (Chromium Molybdenum) FRONT TOW HOOK . Chrome Moly has an excellent strength to weight ratio and is considerably stronger and harder than standard 1020 steel. In order for you to gain a reference, 4340 Chrome Moly is typically used in aircraft landing gear, power transmission gears and shafts and other structural parts. This VMS Racing Tow Hook will fit 2005 through 2013 Corvette C6 Z06 and ZR1 VMS Racing Tow Hook is very lightweight and an easy to install solution for a FRONT TOW HOOK on your Corvette C6 Z06 and ZR1 [ ONLY ]. 4340 Chrome Moly was used for the ultimate strength to weight ration available. The Tow Hook was then POWDER-COATED RED for durability and for HIGH VISIBILITY for the safety crew to easily find it. The VMS Racing FRONT C6 Tow hook will require that remove your front bumper and that you drill two 33/64" holes in the front of the frame, [ behind the grill ]. You will need to trim a very small amount off the top of the grille so the tow hook can pass through it. The tow hook will bolt on to the chassis using RivNuts and RivNut installation tool [ BOTH INCLUDED ]. The tow hook can be mounted on either the right or left side of the car.
