Dorman 977-163 Electronic Throttle Body Compatible with Select Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep Models (OE FIX)

When the original equipment throttle bodies on certain Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep vehicles fail, it's often due to moisture infiltration, worn sensor contacts, or excessive oil buildup. This upgraded Dorman OE FIX electronic throttle body is completely redesigned to eliminate those common sources of failure and provide longer and more reliable service. This all-new construction (not remanufactured) throttle body features a rugged aluminum housing, a Hall effect sensor, and a proprietary Sensor Shield shaft seal designed to better resist damaging moisture, oil, and other contaminants. A specially designed mounting gasket is included for a complete repair. As with any throttle body replacement, we recommend performing an idle relearn with an appropriate scan tool. Note that this unit is a replacement for certain vehicles that have a wiring harness ending with a male connector with a single row of pins as a result of a change by the original equipment manufacturer to their throttle body design. The female connector on this throttle body accepts only that male connector with the single row of pins. Please visually inspect the connector on the wiring harness on the vehicle being repaired to ensure you select the correct OE FIX throttle body. If the vehicle's throttle body harness has a connector with dual stacked row of pins, please select instead our OE FIX electronic throttle body 977-025.
