- MELTS AT 110 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT: German Red Pitch melts at approximately 110 degrees Fahrenheit; use a hot air gun or 300 degrees Fahrenheit oven to prepare it, being careful to avoid boiling the pitch
- COMPLETE KIT: Includes a 8″ x 2-1/4″ shallow cast iron chasing pitch bowl, a proper sized rubber pitch bowl pad and a 4.4 lbs. (2 kg) bar of German Red Pitch; when handling molten pitch, eye protection and protective clothing should be worn
