The 597C1 is designed for harsh environments, featuring a rugged metal housing with Over-molded boot that protects the instrument, ensuring a long life. The meter provides a 2 percent accuracy which is critical for proper humidity measurement. It features the ability to measure temperature, humidity, dewpoint, wet bulb, dry bulb and average bulb readings allow the user to Select the proper reading for their application. Other features include two-line LCD, min/max, record, data hold, °C/°F selection, RS-232 communication and auto off. The probe is made of high impact plastic, and has a 0.45" diameter sensor head. The head is actual the same size as what is found on a "hot wire" meter, and is designed to fits into confined areas.
