Introduced in 1969 by Disneyland, this box evokes nostalgic memories. It's the LARGER version of the Haunted Mansion Panel Chest, exhibiting MORE wear than others we've sold. Slides are skillfully crafted on both sides, requiring OVER 20 steps to open, significantly more than the smaller Disney box. A small end panel splinter is missing, visible in the picture. Some warpage is present, and slides move freely when tilted. An old Disneyland price tag inside, around $2, might not be original. Wear is common, as many were childhood souvenirs. THIS BOX DISPLAYS SOME DINGS AND MARKINGS FROM HEAVY USE. The Haunted Mansion decal remains in excellent condition.
