Introducing the enhanced Block 2 T-37B Tweet tag, featuring updated card and tag art. Note that the product images shown are for reference only, and all tags will be shipped with the new art design. It's Tweet time! The T-37, the USAF's primary trainer for over five decades, holds a special place in the hearts of its pilots. The Tweet's unique shape makes it a great addition to our tag collection. The T-37's history: The XT-37 took its first flight in 1954, with the T-37A joining the USAF in 1956. The initial variant was underpowered, leading to the creation of the T-37B with increased thrust and improved avionics. A total of 552 T-37Bs were delivered to the USAF by the early 70s, and all T-37As were later upgraded to T-37Bs. In total, 1269 T-37s were produced, with the Air Force retiring the aircraft in 2009. The T-37 also played a role in the development of the A-37 Dragonfly, a light attack aircraft used during the Vietnam War.
