From the Manufacturer This Werner Extra Heavy Duty Aluminum Step Stand is ideal for industrial or commercial applications as a lighter weight alternative to two or three step steel ladders. The Ultra Pro Series Type 1A Step Stands are rated for 375 pounds, but are about 40-percent lighter than comparable steel models. They have a gentle front incline so they are easy to climb, but have a steep rear rail incline so they can be placed close to the work area. The steps and top are broad and extra deep to provide slip resistance and added comfort. With extra large 6-inch foot pads, they are ideal for use on floor gratings. The locking spreader ships folded, but then stays permanently open for greater stability, safety, and durability. Werner Step Stands are made in the USA and meet ANSI and OSHA standards. The 2-foot step stand has a maximum standing height of 20 inches. The 3-foot has a maximum standing height of 30 inches. The 2-foot model is 17 inches wide and has a 21-inch spread. The 3-foot model is 18-3/4 inches wide and has a 27-1/2-inch spread. The top is 9-inches by 14-inches and the steps are 6-inches deep.
