This Defender Security door lever lock-out device is designed to be mounted directly over the entry wave shaped lever doorknob to prevent access to the keyhole only, effectively preventing unauthorized access by key. The durable, diecast cylinder is held in place with a removable O-ring for cleaning the cylinder when the lock-out device is unlocked and open. The cylinder cannot be removed when the device is closed and locked. This lock-out device is often used in evictions, rentals, home sales, on job sites, in-home, on in-office storage room knobs to keep other keyholders out, even if they have a key to the door. It is a quicker and easier solution than replacing the entire knob and lock system on a door while still getting the protection you need. The maximum outside diameter of a wave lever that can be secured with this device is 2-7/16 inch.
- DOORKNOB LOCK-OUT DEVICE – The Defender Security doorknob lock-out device can be placed directly over the lever entry doorknob to block access to the keyhole. Note: Measure your door's handle diameter to ensure it will fit inside the lock-out device.
- COVERS KEYHOLE – This doorknob security device is designed to keep the keyhole on the locked entry doorknob from being accessed, not the handle from being turned, effectively keeping other keyholders out.
