The hardware features a triple spring design to provide smooth operation, prevent lever sag, and insure lever return and function for years to come. Levers are positively secured to the interior of the escutcheon plates by a metal retaining ring. Privacy button on the rosette pushes in to lock and automatically releases when the interior lever is turned. Complete lever set includes lever and rosettes, latch with square and radius corner fronts and strikes, all mounting hardware, and installation instructions. This set will fit standard doors having 2-1/8 inch cross bore hole and 1 inch latch hole. Tubular latch has a 2-3/8 inch backset (backset is the distance from the edge of the door to the center of the cross-bore hole). 2-3/4 inch backset is also available but listed separately.
