Each CRL FA Series 3/30 Weight Range Sash Balance necessitates one of various nylon guides, which can be riveted onto the channel's top and bottom using the Cat. No. H3740 Rivet Set Tool (sold separately). This tool secures the rivet firmly. Guide options include: FS290B, FS291B, FS292B, FS293B, FS294B, FS295B, FS296B, FS297B, FS298B, and FS299B. When ordering, remove the existing balance, measure the metal channel's length (excluding guides) in full inches. Some windows may have special 1/2" increment lengths, which can be special ordered. Locate the stamped or etched number on the balance's back, use the chart to find the corresponding CRL catalog number. The catalog number's first two digits do not signify the channel's length.
