Three primary techniques exist, with sandblasting being the most durable. Unlike acid etching or cold-paint, sandblasting allows for vigorous cleaning without scratching or discoloring the finish. Our sandblasted borosilicate glass chimneys, when cared for, can endure indefinitely, even on kerosene lamps.
