After studying at the Ecole des Arts Appliqués, he worked with his father as a funerary sculptor before becoming captivated by ceramics, creating his initial pieces and establishing his own workshop. Here, he refined his technique and began mass production. Throughout his prolific career, Chambost's distinctive, unique works sparked significant interest in France and the United States.
