Magnificent pair of bronze Fackeln, intricately chased, gilded, and guilloched, dating back to the Restoration period around 1820. In excellent original condition, boasting a stunning two-tone mercury gilding, with a rich, elaborate design featuring extensive leaf interlacing, fine outlines of flat leaves, and numerous profiles. The base is adorned with a laurel wreath ring, resting on a beautiful shaft resembling an ancient column with flutings and facets, its base decorated with rich palmettes, ovals, and flowers. The upper part, in the form of a capital with an astragalus and basket shape, culminates in an abacus with dense strip decoration, supporting a charming bowl with acanthus leaf decoration and overflow, and finally, a beautiful vase adorned with rich acanthus leaves, palmettes, and flower spots.
