Rather than thicken the walls of our bats to bring them in line with BBCOR standards, we inserted a 1"-wide graphite band. Not only does this band give the bat the lowest swing weight available for a 2 5/8" BBCOR barrel, it's small enough that the sweet spot feels just like your old BESR bat. Competitors simply thicken their walls in a 4"-5" wide band right in the sweet spot resulting in a heavier, lower performing, smaller sweet spot BBCOR bat. Our 1"-wide graphite band results in the lowest swing weight available for a 2 5/8" barrel BBCOR model.
