Hornit Mini Lids Multi-Sport Kids' Helmets fit boys and girls from children up through the early teens. All helmets are adjustable, so they can better fit your child's head, providing them with increased protection. Choose the size that fits your child's head circumference: Small (48 - 53 cm / 19"" - 21""), or Medium (53 - 58 cm / 21"" - 23""). Mini Lids are A LOT cooler than most kids' bike helmets. Made from durable, weather-proof ABS plastic, they feature 3 different adjustments to ensure a secure fit. The dial tightens up the inner band. The chin strap helps hold the helmet on their head. Removable EPS foam inner lining provides effective padding that secures the helmet and adds protection from impacts. The rear safety light has 3 light modes, and lasts for 20+ hours. Helmets shield the forehead, top, back and sides of the head. Cutaways expose ears, so hearing isn't muffled or blocked. The front of the helmet doesn't come down in front or along the sides in such a way as to restrict peripheral vision. Airholes in the top and across the back are just big enough for ventilation, and won't reduce the helmet's protective qualities.
