The Puppeteer ice rod is a 36" medium weight solid carbon spinning rod designed for smaller predator fish including but not limited to pup lake trout and walleyes. This rod has a medium-fast action which provides enough strength for large rattle raps, buckshots, or tube jigs - as big as 1 oz. The solid carbon blank will provide the superior sensitivity to detect soft bites and smaller fish.

• WHY SOLID CARBON? - Carbon strength tests as the strongest when compared to fiberglass, due in part to its solid carbon build. We avoided a hollow carbon core build because we fish in very cold environments and needed a rod constructed to handle the punishment of negative temps.
