The hole spacing is 4" from either end, then is spaced at 3", 4" to accommodate a variety of reel sizes. The specially angled bottom means that no clasps are needed at the top to keep your poles secure and aligned. Peel & Stick felt strips are provided to protect your rods from scraping against the wood. Unfinished red oak is a naturally beautiful wood that readily accepts your favorite stain very evenly or you can leave the rack unfinished as shown here.
