The LR1000C3 is a new-generation, high-precision, compact laser ranging module designed for demanding measurement applications. Operating at a 905 nm laser wavelength, it delivers reliable distance measurements from 13 ft to 3,281 ft (4 m to 1,000 m) with an accuracy of ±1 m at ranges up to 1,640 ft (500 m). The adaptive ranging frequency of 3–10 Hz ensures fast, real-time updates, while the valid measurement rate of 98% or greater guarantees consistent performance. Weighing just under 0.6 oz (16 g) and measuring only 1.18 x 0.75 x 1.14 inches, this ultra-compact module is ideal for integration into handheld devices such as night vision equipment, thermal imagers, telescopes, and laser illuminators. It also supports perimeter security monitoring, aviation, communications, railways, law enforcement, and outdoor sports applications. The UART-TTL communication interface with a baud rate of 115,200 bps facilitates easy secondary development, and the module operates on a supply voltage of 3.3 V–5 V. With an IP67 protection rating for the lens cavity and an operating temperature range of -4°F to +131°F, this module is built to perform reliably in tough environments.
