The JP Korsteel Stainless Steel French Link Loose Ring Snaffle Bit is a double jointed bit that helps to evenly distribute pressure over the tongue. Combined with the uniquely curved mouthpiece this bit is designed to reduce the "nutcracker" effect as well as alleviating pressure on the bars of the horse's mouth. The loose rings make a more mobile bit which discourages fixing and leaning on the forehand to encourage a more relaxed contact. This horse bit is considered a mild bit and can be preferable to horses with less palate clearance.
