• Hardware Mounted: Simply use the included screws to mount the smart pet door securely to wood, metal, or storm doors. If you ever decide to remove your front door gate for dogs, a little patch and touch up will make the small screw holes unnoticeable again. Or, if you don't want screws, you may be able to use an adhesive, but this would not be as secure and is not recommended.

• How Do I Exit: The Bow Wow Barrier for front door moves back and forth with your door to block the opening during brief encounters. When you need to walk past your Bow Wow Barrier secured door, simply unhook the handle side from your exterior door and guide the handle back towards the reel. You can latch your front door gate before you leave, close the door, then unlatch the Bow Wow Barrier from the outside when you return home.
