Heavy vegetation and poly fence products will reduce the overall power of the fence energizer.
- [ Two Terminals ]: Equipped with two terminals, ground (black) terminal for connecting to a separate ground rod, fence (red) terminal for connecting to the fence line. Indicator light flashes with pulse, showing working condition. Lightning protection included.
- [ Grounding Rods ]: Make sure there are a sufficient number of ground rods. If in doubt, use at least three ground rods. Use more ground rods if your soil conditions are not ideal. Ground rods should be at least 6'6" (2 m) long. One long ground rod works better than several short ground rods.
- [TIP]: Warning signs should be installed at every point where the wire is readily accessible to personnel. Suggestion: A waterproof cover should be added for outdoor use.
