- This compacted evergreen shrub has upright bright green, fine-textured foliage that forms a natural vase-shape. Its rapid growth exhibits a fountain-like growth habit reaching 4-6 feet tall. Ideally used as accent plants, borders, windbreaks and screens.
- This low-maintenance, hardy evergreen needs a regular water schedule to ensure the growth of a mature root system. After the mature root system is established, watering is needed occasionally, except during a drought, watering is needed regularly. Once mature, shearing is recommended annually to maintain desired shape.
- Sea green Juniper, Juniperus chinensis 'Sea Green', is a quick growing, spreading, evergreen shrub. It is easily pruned to maintain a specific height. It has an upright growth with arching branches that are very distinct for this particular variety of juniper.
- Easily grown in average, medium moisture, well-drained soils in full sun. Tolerant of a wide variety of soils including clay. Intolerant of wet soils. Tolerant of some drought once established. Pruning may help maintain compact habit.
- Juniperus x pfitzeriana is a hybrid designation that includes certain cultivars that are crosses between Juniperus chinensis and Juniperus sabina. Such cultivars in the Pfitzer Group are sometimes commonly called pfitzer juniper.
