Engineered for maximum strength, stability, and mattress protection, it is designed to replace weak wood or low quality steel slats, while integrating with existing bed frames that have all wood headboards, footboards, and side rails.
- Made in the USA from recycled high-carbon railroad steel, our bed support system is load tested to support over 1 ton (2,000 pounds), giving peace of mind to heavier individuals and plus size couples. Each crossbar is supported by three solid solid steel legs with adjustable threaded feet (total of 12 legs and 12 feet) which distributes weight directly to the floor, reducing strain on wooden frame components. Additionally, our steel bedframe support system features two exclusive longitudinal braces (tie rods) for added rigidity and stability, preventing leg shifting.
- Our advanced American engineering includes four 1½″ industrial-grade angle iron crossbars: One bar near the headboard, one near the footboard, and two evenly spaced between them. The 10-gauge crossbar dimensions are 1.5″ x 1.5″ x 0.100″
- Our sturdy center supports require that your current bed have a wooden headboard, footboard and side rails. The side rails must have a wooden lip. Lip to floor measurement can be 5.75″ to 9.5”. No drawers can be present under bed. A box spring, foundation, bunkie board or platform is required.
