If a USB power connection is required, please make sure your USB port supports fast charging and has a 3A output. Most motorcycle USB ports do not meet this requirement so hardwiring to the battery is the preferred installation for motorcycles. When connecting to a motorcycle battery, ensure the voltage remains under 16V.
