This ultimate cam kit is a compatible replacement upgrade for 1955-1985 Chevrolet 262-400 V-8 small block (non-roller/non-computer) engines. Cam specs are: .480"/.480 Lift, .288/.288 Duration, 232/232 Duration @ .050". Includes (16) 812D-16 DLC (Diamond Like Coated) High Energy flat tappets lifters. DLC coating is used in aerospace and machine tool industries for high energy surfaces to resist wear. That produces an extremely hard, tough, and slick face that reduces friction at the cam lobe and will extend the life of the lifter and camshaft.
