Installation Kit This Hurst installation kit is for the Street Super Shifter and is designed to be used on all 1963-1974 Muncie 4-speeds (451, 452, 453) transmissions, Borg Warner T-10 (410) transmissions, and Richmond/Borg Warner Super T-10 (454) transmissions. The Hurst Street Super Shifter incorporates all the great features of our Competition/Plus line of shifters, but mounts high on the transmission allowing the shift arms to be almost completely straight for added strength and leverage when racing. The kit includes the necessary mounting plate, 2 sets of shift arms, hardened steel shift rods, rod adjusting buttons, nylon bushings, spring clips and necessary hardware. The Street Super Shifter is a universal mount 4-speed shifter for manyCompatible with Ford and GM vehicles applications, and will likely require modification to the floorpan of your vehicle. Note: Use kit 3738615 forCompatible with Ford applications. The Street Super Shifter is not vehicle specific and will fit many vehicles. Please note that since the Street Super Shifter mounts high on the transmission, and modifications to the floorpan will most likley be necessary for clearance.
