- Very long-lasting scissor sharpness due to the use of special forged steel. Ice tempering at -180 °C binds the carbon within the molecular structure making the Friodur shear blade harder. This gives the steel a higher hardness level and makes it even more durable and able to hold sharpness for a longer amount of time.
