Belzona 1111 Super Metal Two-component Metal Repair Agent Base + Solidifier Two Pails one Set A 2-part repair composite for metal repair and resurfacing based on solvent-free epoxy resin reinforced with silicon steel alloy. This repair material will not corrode and resists a wide range of chemicals. It is easy to mix and apply without the need of specialist tools and can be machined using conventional tools. • Belzona 1111 Super Metal Kit. Two components parts, Base + Solidifier 2 Pails one Set. Metal Repair Epoxy Resin. Mixing ratio (Base : Solidifier) 3:1 by volume / 5:1 by weight. Working life 15 minutes at 25°C (77°F). Shelf life 5 years.
• Cure Times table. No loading or immersion: 3 hrs at 10°C, 2¼ hrs at 15°C, 1¾ hrs at 20°C, 1 hr at 25°C. Machining and/or light loading: 4 hrs at 10°C, 3 hrs at 15°C, 2 hrs at 20°C, 1½ hrs at 25°C. Full mechanical or thermal loading: 2 days at 10°C, 1½ days at 15°C, 1 day at 20°C, 20 hrs at 25°C. Immersion in chemicals: 4 days at 10°C, 3 days at 15°C, 2 days at 20°C, 1½ days at 25°C.
• Dry heat resistance 200°C (392°F). Adhesion (tensile shear): Mild steel - 2,790 psi (19.2 Mpa) / Stainless steel - 2,960 psi (20.4 Mpa). Compressive strength 9620 psi (66.3 Mpa) at 20°C (68°F). Heat distortion temperature: 53°C (127°F) at 20°C (68°F) / 91°C (195°F) at 100°C (212°F)
