• PU-ERH TEA: Pu-erh is a special type of Chinese tea from Yunnan province. It belongs to the class of fermented teas, typically called “dark“ tea or “black“ tea in China. It can be naturally fermented over time or by using a special pilling procedure to speed-up the aging process.
• EARTHY FLAVOR: Pu-erh has a very fascinating flavor profile. It can vary from fresh tobacco and wood to earthy.
• HOW TO BREW PU-ERH TEA: Bring your water to a full boil and remove from heat. Add tea, one level teaspoon per cup. For iced teas add a semi-heaping teaspoon. Allow tea to steep approximately 3-5 minutes and remove tealeaves. If you like a strong, pungent cup of tea add a bit more tea, we do not recommend that you steep any longer than 5-6 minutes or you will likely have a bitter cup.
