All collar measurements include both large end O rings ( collars are measured from the outer tip of one end O ring to the outer tip of the other end O ring). Fur saver and choke chains have to be able to slide over dog's head and ears. Fur saver and choke chains cannot be adjusted, that is why it is very important for them to fit properly. Some breeds have (ex. English Bulldog) their head a lot larger than their necks, in this case chain has to be long enough to slide over dog's head. Please keep in mind that Herm Sprenger collars are manufactured in Germany and initial length is measured in centimeters, during conversion from CM to INCHES measurements are rounded to the nearest inch. - CUROGAN CHAIN COLLAR: Wire Gauge 3mm thick by 20 in (50cm) overall length. This collar works best for dogs up to 77 lbs (35KG)
- HOW TO MEASURE YOUR DOG: Measure your dog’s neck and add 2 inches. These collars are not adjustable and should be able to slide over dog’s head
- HOW THESE COLLARS ARE MEASURED: The manufacturer advertises overall length of the collar including both end O rings. Please keep in mind that primary measurement of this collar is in CM and then converted and rounded to the nearest INCH.
- GUARANTEED NOT TO RUST: Curogan will not rust but due to high copper content, the material can darken over time This can be easily solved by using metal polish and it will look new again.
