The 849 is a pencil reminiscent of Caran Dash, which started as a pencil factory in Geneva, Switzerland in 1915, has celebrated 50th anniversary in 2019. As we launch a variety of new products and collaboration models every year, we finally add a mechanical pencil with a Swiss flag design. This time we custom made the 0.5mm core which is most commonly used in the Japanese market. The eye-catching red body and white Swiss flag is a great fashion accessory or conversation starter.
