This is a set of 9 stencils/templates of 4 different F-hole patterns, based on designs that have been used on stringed musical instruments (lutes, violins and more) throughout history. These are laser-cut from 0.080" clear acrylic, with centering lines included, so that you can easily place the templates on your cigar box guitar or other build. Once placed, just use a sharp pencil, pen or marker to mark the shape onto your instrument, then use a scroll saw & file or rotary tool to carve it out. The designs included in this set are: Traditional-style elegant F-hole (3 sizes: 2.5", 3.5" and 4.5") Renaissance-style F-hole (sometimes called a "C-hole" because it looks more like a C than an F) - 3 sizes: 2.5", 3.5" and 4.5" Stradivarius - a reproduction of the actual shape of the sound holes used by Stradivarius on his violins in the 17th century - 2 sizes, 3.5" & 4.5" Heart - a fanciful pseudo-F-hole design that incorporates a heart shape (1-size: 3.5") Acrylic this thin is rather brittle, so treat these templates gently and don't bend them, otherwise they might break!
