This is a bright pink 1/10 violin package that comes complete with 1 Brazilwood bow, 1 lightweight triangular violin case, and one rosin. This violin is nicely set up and ready to play, featuring a wood top and wood pink oil varnished back, sides, neck, and scroll. This violin has beautiful purfling, and pegs, fingerboard, and chinrest are made from wood. The durable aluminum tailpiece comes with four built-in fine tuners. The lightweight case has a rainproof canvas exterior and shoulder straps with a sheet music pocket and accessory compartment. Austrian rosin cake is included. Bow has a double pearl eye and genuine unbleached Mongolian horsehair. It also comes with a new fitted bridge and new strings. Great sound, the perfect gift for children to start learning violins. Size suggestions: Age 2-4 yrs old with an arm length of 15" to 16" Notes to New Players Violin needs to be tuned every time before playing. When tuning, push the pegs inward so pegs peg stay in place, sometimes extra force is needed to keep the pegs from slipping. For the first time, the bow needs to be rosined for 5 minutes (or 30-50 full passes), and after every 4-6 hours of practice, rosin needs to be reapplied. Loose bow hair each time after playing, and tighten your bow by gently turning the tension screw. After playing the violin, gently clean it with a soft, clean, lint-free cloth to remove rosin build-up on the strings and any dust, oil, or sweat.
