Our "kreisier" line is among the very the best student level stringed instruments (violins, violas, cellos, and basses) on the market today. All “Kreisier ”line instruments are hand carved with a solid maple flamed back, spruce top, commercial oil varnish, "Wittner" (German) tailpieces and real ebony fingerboards and fittings. Each instrument is personally set up using Dominant strings and adjusted to its quintessential state of sound production in our shop in Midvale, Utah. On-staff professional musicians are involved in this process. The instruments come with a bow and case (type of bow and case depend upon the instrument purchased). All of our instruments are a beautiful deep reddish/brown color with a warm, handmade tone quality which is pleasing to the ear of the beginning student
